Dr. Darren Goring earned his bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University graduating Phi Kappa Phi. He was accepted into the prestigious Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of Pacific in San Francisco where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and received high honors. Following dental school, he completed three years of additional training in a competitive and rigorous prosthodontics residency at the West Los Angeles Veterans Hospitals and University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Goring is highly trained and passionate about providing quality care to his patients. When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Goring enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and four children.

Marilyn Warner

Office Manager

Marilyn Warner is our office manager and has worked in the dental field for 30 years. She enjoys meeting and getting to know all of our patients and greets everyone with her warm, friendly personality. Marilyn attended Brigham Young University where she met and married her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family at their mountain cabin.

Lisa Howlett

Dental Hygienist

Lisa Howlett has practiced as a hygienist for over 25 years, specializing in treating patients with implants, prosthetics, and oral cancer. She views all of her patients as friends and is always interested in hearing about their travels and life stories. She maintains many of these friendships for life. Lisa wants everybody who comes into the office to feel loved and taken care of. When not in the office, she is excited to spend time with her close-knit family or learn about foreign cultures through travel.

Bobbie joined our practice in January 2020 and has been a great asset to our team. She has 15 years of dental assisting experience and has two children. Bobbie enjoys baking and spending time with family and their animals.

Chelsey Chen has been with Salt Lake Prosthodontics for over 3 years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah and is certified in dental assisting from Practical Dental Assisting of Utah. She intends to pursue dentistry and has been accept into the University of Utah School Dentistry. Chelsey enjoys conversing with patients and making them feel comfortable in a dental environment. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, and running at the park.

Dr Goring and staff were extremely helpful and prompt in helping me with my partial prosthesis. Dr. Goring is great,, I highly recommend him. My old dentures were terrible so he made new lower dentures and adjusted my upper plate. I no longer bite my lip and cheek and I am now having him make new upper plate to get one that fits my mouth and hopefully will allow me to talk more normally.

Dr Goring is great technically, professionally and ethically. He understands the dynamics as well as aesthetics of teeth. He will give you teeth that function as well as look great. He places the patient's well being above all else. He wants you to be both well and happy, even if it takes extra effort on his part. I've been searching for someone like him for 63 years because of the many dental problems I've had. He is the best of all the dentists and prosthodontists I have ever dealt with. Dr. Goring is by far the best dental practitioner I have been to. He genuinely cares about his patients. My tooth fell out the week of my wedding, and he fit me into to his schedule at 9 am the next morning to make sure I was taken care of. He did an incredible job on my teeth. My crown looks stunning. I have been the recipient of Dr Lee's wonderful care for over 25 years. So I was worried when he cut down the time he spent working. I need not have worried.
